Resting Place

Diane requested that her ashes were scattered in the grounds of Longleat House, at the location where I proposed to her, she was sitting on the left hand end of the bench, (looking from the front) when I went down on one knee.
If you can use Google Earth this link will show you the location.

A map close-up showing how you can get in (this is how Diane & I used to walk in)
Park at the PH (The Bath Arms in Horningsham) walk passed the 'road blocker' then down Lodge Road and just before the Lodge/Archway go through the gate on your left, this is the top of the pleasure walk, continue down the hill, you will see the pond on your left and Dianes bench on the other side, keep going but at the path junction, turn left, walk around behind the pond and look for the giant redwood on your left, Dianes bench is under it.

Be aware that the gate may be locked when Longleat is closed, use the calendar on the Longleat website to check (mainly around Christmas time).
